The Redesigned 2024 Hyundai Kona Line
Perhaps the biggest news so far for 2024 is the new Kona redesign with the addition of an all-electric model. Compared to older models, the new 2024 Kona is practically unrecognizable with unique lighting elements and a sleeker, more aerodynamic design with quirky color options. There will truly be a Kona for everyone since there will also be a performance-based N Line trim available as well. Hyundai is also being generous with dual 12.3-inch display screens for the new Kona.

Continuing The New All-Electric IONIQ Line
Since the grand and successful debut of the IONIQ 5, it comes as no surprise that Hyundai would lean heavily into this side of the market, especially with EVs making a fast change into becoming standardized. The IONIQ 5 hatchback was recognized for its impressive specs, spacious interior, and trendy look. Soon after, the IONIQ 6 came to fruition for those who prefer sedans. Now that both have gained so much popularity, Hyundai is continuing to offer upgraded versions of the existing IONIQ lineup for the 2024 model year.
Upgrades To The 2024 Hyundai Sonata
Somewhat similar to the design choices in the new IONIQ line, the revamped Sonata for the 2024 model year will have a stylish new front-end design with thinner and longer light bars that go across the entire front. Below the trendy new light bar is a wider grille that’s set pretty low, and distinct rectangular housings for the headlights. The stark contrast between drastically small and large elements coming together for a bold design is exciting every time you look at it. Inside, you’ll find dual 12.3-inch displays like most other models coming out for 2024 but the Sonata adds a personal touch with curved screens in favor of the driver. So far, we know of three different powertrains
-
The standard 2.5L engine with 191 horsepower and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
-
A 2.5L turbo engine with 290 horsepower and an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
-
A 2.0L hybrid system with 192 horsepower for a combined 52 miles per gallon.
